ANIMAL PRINT (2020)

Animal Print is a video installation in four channels with mono-channel sound where different animals in danger of extinction are being reproduced along with a heartbeat sound.

Playing with analog video synthesizers and reproduced in old TV sets, this piece is intended to be an ode to the National Geographic documentaries I grew up with and it’s a document of the current reality of our ecosystems for the generations to come. It is specially colorfully made for children to have a closer connection to these animals that probably they’ll never get to see in their lifetime.

It was exhibited in March 2020 in the Projektraum Mein Blau in Berlin during the Exhibition “Herzschwingen” curated by Maria Hinze.
